THE STORY OF DOTTIE MAY IS ONE OF A SMALL TOWN GIRL MADE GOOD. VERY GOOD, IN EVERY WAY.

She was born and raised in small town heartland America. Hers was a simple life. When she wasn’t in school, odds were, she was helping her dad tend to the family farm, growing fine grains. Then milling them into wholesome oats. Occasionally, out of those oats, came oatmilk.

Dottie learned the virtue of a hard day’s work and doing things the right way, clean and simple. But she was also born with an adventurous streak. And one day, as a young lady not much older than 21, she told her family: “I’m movin’ to the big city.”

Tears were shed, and well wishes were granted and accepted. She packed up her old red Ford truck, and away she went.

Soon enough, amidst the tall buildings, bright lights, and a new life, she found herself tending bar at night to help make ends meet. There, she noticed that the cream liqueur people were buying was filled with stuff that was nothing like the oatmilk she helped make back at the farm.

She remembered overhearing her dad talking to her mom one night about mixing their family oatmilk into a concoction with a little whiskey in it, when the time was right. A family tradition of sorts.

Dottie wondered if this country marvel might be something that city folk like, too. That enterprising spirit kicked in… again.

And here we are. Dottie May’s™ oatmilk cream liqueur. The best of old time country living mixed with contemporary tastes.
